How can a pet enrich my life?

Well I can only speak for myself, but I think having a dog for most of my life has definitely enriched my life. Why, because pets such as dogs or cats will give you unconditional love. No matter how bad things may seem somehow a pet can make you fell better and give you the comfort that you need. Yes, it cost money to take care of a pet, but the rewards can be worth the trouble.
